Abstract

Climate change – or more precisely termed, the climate crisis – represents one of the most comprehensive and globally significant manifestations of environmental challenges our planet has faced for centuries. Scientific research on this issue has been growing steadily, particularly since the 2000s. This study reviews the book titled İklim Krizi ve Türkiye (The Climate Crisis and Turkiye) which analyzes the progression of the climate crisis globally and in Turkiye, while incorporating the author’s firsthand experiences from participating in the negotiations specifically concerning Turkiye.
