Aim

EnerjiTR is an international refereed journal published twice a year by Kafademi (Kafademi Scientific Research and Development Cooperative). The aim of the journal is to publish theoretical and applied academic studies on energy and environment-oriented issues in Turkey and the world from the perspective of social sciences. In the context of energy and environment, the journal primarily publishes theoretical and practical studies on energy production and consumption, energy markets, sectoral regulation and taxation in energy, energy supply and demand security, global energy policies, broadly defined environmental problems, problems arising from the use of natural resources, green growth. The journal’s mission is to offer a platform for researchers to engage in dialogue for researchers across different disciplines who contribute to the production of academic knowledge on energy and environmental issues in Turkey and the world, as well as policy makers and practitioners in the field. In line with the scope and objectives of the journal, it is important that the studies to be published are disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary in scope, methodological competence as well as new and original contributions to the discussions on energy and environmental issues. In this way, it is aimed to contribute to the formation of an accumulation that will be used by individuals and/or institutions working in the field of energy and environment, first in Turkey and then in the world.

Scope

The journal will include studies that evaluate the developments in the international arena in relation to energy and environment, examine existing or newly emerging problematic areas, address innovations and contribute to the field. Within this framework, the journal will publish original articles, research notes, book reviews, especially on the following topics

  • Global energy policies
  • Energy supply and demand security
  • Energy markets (oil market, natural gas market, etc.)
  • Regulation, taxation etc. in energy markets
  • International trade
  • Renewable energy
  • Environment and climate
  • Carbon policies
  • Green economy
  • Circular economy
  • Econometric, statistical and forecasting modelling within the scope of the journal
